Dustin Mansell is a 41 year old Sr Sales Leader with the largest solar financier in the Nation, GoodLeap. Dustin started his sales career 21 years ago in the residential mortgage industry, building his own mortgage brokerage to be one of the most successful organizations in California for several years.
In 2009, Dustin was recruited to come be a part of a company called Paramount Equity Mortgage, led by Hayes Barnard. Hayes was inspiring and seemed to be a visionary with massive goals. Intrigued by the opportunity, Dustin sold his company and made the switch to Paramount to manage and scale mortgage sales teams. From 2009 until 2017, Dustin was an instrumental part of multiple large scale mergers and acquisitions, grew sales teams at scale, trained some of the top solar sales leaders in the nation, and helped build the solar financing platform for the once largest residential solar installer at that time. Towards the tail end of 2017, Dustin rejoined the Paramount Equity team to determine what the future holds. They loved financing and we loved solar.
Their decision was very easy, build a solar finance platform based on what they wished they had when they were on that side of the table. A solar finance company built by sales people, for sales people, which became the birth of Loanpal, now GoodLeap. From 2017 until now, Dustin and the GoodLeap team have revolutionized the green energy lending space by putting sales people first, and using their backgrounds and industry expertise to ensure their partners have all the tools they need to be successful.
